The Masturbator Optimum Power Masturball by CalExotics is a black ball that sits well in one hand and has an opening on each side: behind one lies a ribbed channel, behind the other a channel with soft nubs. Two motors work inside. They offer 10 programmes of vibration, pulsation and escalation and squeeze the channel rhythmically in 3 levels. It is operated with three buttons on the band around the ball; to switch it on, hold the middle button for three seconds; the left one sets the compression, the right one the vibration. Which lubricant fits?

A water-based one. Silicone oil attacks soft plastics and makes the surface tacky over time. The selection is under water-based lubricant.

How is it cleaned?

Rinse both channels with lukewarm water and a sex toy cleaner and let it dry properly before the caps go back on. Only charge it once it is completely dry.

Can it be warmed up?

Yes: a few minutes in warm water are enough, not in the microwave and not on the radiator. The soft channels take on the warmth and give it back for a while.

How long does a charge last?

It runs for around 55 minutes on the highest setting and around 65 minutes on the lowest. Allow about 2.5 hours for the first charge.

How should it be stored?

With the two magnetic protective caps on the openings; they hold by themselves and keep dust off the soft nubs. Keep it somewhere cool, apart from other toys and out of direct sunlight.
