The Aetolia by Pretty Love is an automatic masturbator that does the work for you: it thrusts, vibrates and sucks. There are five thrusting settings, nine vibration settings and seven suction settings, and the display at the top of the housing shows you what is running. At the front sits a soft TPE insert, the ABS housing holds the motor and battery, and a cap protects the opening when it is not in use. A separate grip handle comes with it. How is it operated?

Below the display sits the round on/off button, and below that three smaller buttons, one for each function. That way you set thrusting, vibration and suction separately. Start all three low and build up as it feels right.

Which lubricant fits?

A water-based one, and plenty of it. It gets along with the soft insert and rinses out easily. If you like it flavoured, you will find suitable varieties under flavoured lubricant.

How is it cleaned?

Rinse the insert with lukewarm water and a sex toy cleaner and only wipe the housing with a damp cloth. Then let everything dry completely before the cap goes back on. Moisture inside is the reason soft inserts start to smell after weeks.

How is it charged?

With a USB-C cable; the socket sits at the closed end next to the display. Only charge it once the housing is clean and dry.

What is the grip handle for?

It fits around the housing and gives you two side grips with a textured surface. That way you guide the device steadily and evenly with both hands, and it does not slip as easily even with lubricant on your fingers. The handle is a universal design and also fits other masturbators with a similarly thick housing.
