How long may a sucker stay on?

Ten minutes at a stretch at most. Then release the suction and let the area warm up. If it hurts or the skin turns pale, cold, numb or dark in colour, the limit has already been passed: release the suction, take it off at once and take a break the next day.

Do marks remain?
