Can the two of you share one bottle?

Yes. Each of you wears it on your own skin, and because every skin takes on a scent a little differently, it does not smell quite the same on two people.

Where do you apply the fragrance?

Where the skin is warm: on the wrists, the sides of the neck, behind the ears or in the crook of the arm. Hold the atomiser a hand’s width away and start with one or two sprays. Do not rub the fragrance in; let it dry on its own.

When do you know whether it suits you?

Not in the first few minutes. A fragrance changes on the skin, and what remains after a few hours smells different from the first impression. So wear it for a whole day before you judge, and try it on your skin rather than on a paper strip.

What about sensitive skin?

Do a test first: one spray in the crook of the arm, then wait a few hours. If the spot burns or reddens, wash the fragrance off and do not use it again. It does not go on irritated or broken skin or on mucous membranes, and you leave freshly shaved areas out as well. Never spray towards your face; if some gets into an eye anyway, rinse it straight away with clear water.

How do you store the bottle?

With the cap on, cool and dark, ideally in its folding case and where children cannot reach it. A sunny windowsill, the radiator or a car in summer are poor places, because light and heat change a fragrance over time.
