Each scent comes in a slim, clear glass vial with a silver cap and spray head and can be told apart by the colour of its print: purple for Morning Glow, red for One Love and golden yellow for After Dark. The three sit side by side in a box of shiny silver card with a window. All three contain pheromones alongside the fragrance. The set is vegan and made without animal testing. What do the three scents smell like?

Morning Glow is a fresh bouquet of ylang-ylang, jasmine, apple blossom, freesia and violet over white musk. One Love combines citrusy rose, lily and jasmine with vanilla. After Dark blends warm jasmine and lily with creamy white chocolate, with grapefruit and vanilla underneath.

Do the pheromones work?

In humans, an effect of pheromones is not scientifically established. The only certainty is that you are wearing a perfume that smells. If you like the scent and feel good in it, that is the part you can rely on.

How do I apply it?

One or two sprays just below the neckline are enough, directly onto the skin from about a hand’s width away. Let the scent dry down instead of rubbing it in. Better not to spray it on clothing, because fragrances can leave marks on light fabric.

What about sensitive skin?

Try each scent on a small patch before first use, such as the inside of the elbow. If it irritates the skin or feels unpleasant, stop using it and see a doctor if the irritation persists. Keep the scents away from the eyes, mucous membranes and the intimate area; if some gets into the eye, rinse thoroughly with plenty of clean water. The vials do not belong in children’s hands.

How do I store the set?

Ideally back in the box, cool, dry and out of direct sunlight, with the caps on. Heat and light change fragrances over time. How long a scent lasts on the skin depends on skin, warmth and the amount.
