The Apolo Perfume Oil by Secret Play is a perfume oil for men with a dry scent, blended with natural pheromones. Instead of an atomiser it has a roll-on: under the black screw cap sits a metal ball that you roll the oil straight onto the skin with. The small, round bottle of clear glass has a thick base; the oil inside is transparent. On the front it carries a grey-black watercolour splash with a white field in which APOLO stands in three lines of black serif letters, For Men above and Perfume Oil below. It comes in a white folding case with the same motif. It stands under sexual preparations, with drugstore, under intimate hygiene and with the sex toys.

How do you apply it?

Unscrew the cap and roll the ball over the wrist, the side of the neck or the nape. One stroke per spot is enough. Then let the oil sink in instead of rubbing it.

What is different from a spray?

You place the scent precisely. There is no mist spreading through the room or onto your clothes, and with every stroke you decide yourself where the scent goes.

What does “Natural pheromones” mean?

Pheromones are mixed into the formula. There is no evidence that they do anything to other people. Choose the oil by whether you like the dry scent.

Does it stain clothes?

Perfume oil can leave marks on fabric. Give the oil a moment to sink in before a shirt collar or cuff goes over it.

Where do you not apply it?

Not on mucous membranes, not in the intimate area, not near the eyes. Leave out freshly shaved, irritated or broken skin as well. Test the oil on a small spot first; if it turns red or itches, wash it off with soap and water.

How do you store it?

With the cap screwed on tight, upright, cool and dark. That way nothing leaks and the ball does not dry out. As it touches the skin directly, the bottle is best used by you alone.
