The Patterned Mesh Bodystocking by Subblime is knitted from wide black fishnet with large, diamond-shaped holes. It reaches from the shoulders down to the feet and is held by two thin straps; a narrow, straight edge finishes it at the top. A motif with radiating holes is knitted in over the bust, and a diamond motif with oval holes runs across the belly. At the back the straps run down to a cross band over the back, followed by a wide strip of openwork below it. Two matching motifs repeat at the back of the knees. Away from these motifs the mesh is equally wide everywhere on the torso and legs. The black strappy sandals in the pictures are not included. How do you put it on?

Like tights, from the bottom. Gather one leg, put your foot in and pull the mesh up bit by bit, then the second one. Finally you pull it over hips and belly and lay the straps on your shoulders.

How delicate is the wide mesh?

The large holes catch easily. Watch out for heels, rings, bracelets and long fingernails. If a hole has caught, free it carefully by hand instead of pulling.

What does one size mean?

It comes in just one size. The mesh stretches in length and width. Make sure the motif on the belly sits centrally; then the patterns on the bust and knees are in the right place too.

How do you wash it?

Most gently by hand in cool water. Use a little delicate detergent, only press the water out and let it dry flat. In the machine the large holes can catch on other laundry.
