Why it is needed becomes clear on the first attempt without one: the hard rim of a cylinder does not seal on skin, and without a seal no vacuum builds. The silicone sleeve conforms, turns the edge into a soft surface and also protects the skin from the hard rim. The opening sits at the top in a small dome whose slit flaps give way on insertion and then close snugly around the penis. Clean the sleeve separately from the cylinder with warm water, and it has to be completely dry before it goes back on. Which pump does the sleeve fit?

Round pump cylinders with an open rim. Inside, the base is set back in several steps, so it also grips cylinder rims of different widths, and it holds by its own tension. If it sits loosely, the cylinder is too narrow and the seal will not hold.

How long may you pump?

Ten to fifteen minutes at a time, with breaks, building the vacuum slowly. Pumping longer or harder risks burst capillaries and bruising.

What if it hurts?

Release immediately, as soon as it pulls or burns. With a pump, pain is not a sign of effect but the signal that the pressure is too high. That is why a pump must not be used without a way to release the pressure immediately.

Do you need lubricant?
