The Plush Handcuffs by Doc Johnson (Furry Handcuffs in a Bag) are cuffs of nickel-free metal with a black faux fur cover. The plush sits between metal and skin and takes the hardness out of the narrow edge, so they can be worn longer than bare metal. They fit around the wrists and can also be fastened to a bed post, for example. Each cuff has a quick-release button, and two keys come with them. The two cuffs are joined by a short chain of several links. They sit under handcuffs, under bondage and in our BDSM sex toys section.

How tightly may they sit?

So that two fingers fit underneath, and not a millimetre tighter, because even with plush, metal does not give. Metal cuffs tighten further when tugged, so check the fit now and then. Open them at once if there is numbness, coldness or pale skin, and never leave anyone restrained alone, not even briefly.

What if the key is lost?

Then the button opens the cuff even without a key. So that it does not come to that, put one key in a fixed place in the room where both of you will find it, not in a trouser pocket, and keep the second one separate. Bolt cutters are the bad answer to a question a second key would have settled.

What should be discussed beforehand?

Limits and a safeword. A safeword is a word that is not part of the play and at which everything stops at once, no questions and no discussion.
