A rabbit with two ends and thirty programmes: The Rasmussen is the more realistic of the two battery models: the shaft is shaped like a penis, with a glans and ribbing below it, and the arm ends in a broad tongue. It is operated from two buttons on the white handle, and two AAA batteries sit inside it - that is stated on the box and was nowhere to be read in the shop. Batteries rather than a rechargeable cell means nothing to charge, but keep spares in the house, because there is no charge indicator. The coloured part is silicone, the handle hard plastic. Do both ends have to land at once?

No, and that is the most common disappointment with a rabbit: the distance between shaft and arm is fixed, anatomy is not. If it does not fit straight away, a different angle helps more than more pressure. The designs compared are in the vibrator guide.

Batteries or a rechargeable cell - which is better?

Both have a price. Batteries are ready at once and available everywhere on holiday; in return the power fades slowly and you notice only when it is too late. A rechargeable cell holds the power to the end but needs a cable. Here it is two AAA.

What do 30 programmes mean?

Mostly that you go looking. In practice almost everyone uses three or four of them; the rest is choice. More important than the number is that both ends can be controlled separately.

How is it cleaned?

Wash it with lukewarm water and toy cleaner and let it dry completely, keeping the handle with the electronics dry. Silicone is non-porous, nothing stays behind in the surface; even so it is not boiled because of the motor. Only water-based lubricant is suitable, see water-based lubricant.
