How are the buttons assigned?

At the top you switch it on and off; below that are the button for the thumping and the one for the vibration, each with seven settings. At the end of the handle sits the button marked “fx” for the climax mode.

What is the difference between thumping and vibrating?

Vibration is a fine, rapid trembling. When thumping, the pad at the tip delivers single pulses that are felt deeper rather than at the surface.
