In the surface and in the shape of the ears. This one has a smooth shaft and ears set wide apart, the other a ribbed shaft. Widely set ears take in more but meet exactly less often.

How does one tell whether a rabbit fits?

By the gap between the arms. If the outer arm sits too high or too low, the stimulus does not arrive, and no figure on the box says in advance whether it meets. Soft arms forgive more than rigid ones - which is exactly why this build exists in ultra-soft silicone.

Does one have to use both arms at once?
