Why did the field say “black” as the colour?

Because dark skin tones are often entered as black across the board. In the photo it is a warm dark brown - a skin tone, not black, and something else in the filter.

What is the suction base for?

It holds on any smooth surface - tiles, bathtub, mirror. That makes hands-free use possible, and it also fits a harness from strap-ons.

How realistic is realistic?

Glans, veins and testicles are moulded, the colour is a skin tone. What is not reproduced: the warmth and softness of a real body - that takes silicone in two hardnesses, and this one does not have it.

Is silicone the right choice?

For a device that is inserted, yes. Silicone is non-porous, takes nothing up and can be cleaned completely - unlike TPE, which only comes clean at the surface.

What does medical-grade silicone mean?

A quality level approved for lasting skin contact - tested for what can leach out of the material. Maiatoys states it on the graphic for every article; the record said “ABS” on several of them. It is also the reason these toys can be cleaned completely rather than only at the surface.

Which lubricant goes with it?

A water-based one from water-based lubricant. Silicone lubricant attacks silicone: the surface turns dull and sticky, and that cannot be undone. A drop is usually enough - too much gel damps the vibration instead of passing it on, and a water-based gel can be revived with a splash of water.

How is it cleaned?

With lukewarm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner from sex toy cleaner, then left to dry in the open. Harsh cleaners, alcohol and the dishwasher have no business near silicone: they dull the surface, and dull silicone attracts dust. More on it in the care guide.
