Why are there two lengths?

The total length runs from the tip to the underside of the suction cup. Only the shaft is insertable above the suction cup; when it comes to how deep it goes, the shorter length is what counts.

How do you use the suction cup?

Press it onto a smooth, clean and dry surface such as tiles, glass or a painted door; a drop of water on the rim helps it grip. It will not hold on wallpaper, rough wood or fabric. To release it, lift the rim carefully instead of pulling on the shaft.

What applies to jelly?
