The Realistic Vibrator Rotating Slider by Baile is a classic stick vibrator in a true-to-life shape, with a moulded glans and veins along the whole shaft. The shaft is slightly curved and flexible, and rows of small nubs run alongside the veins. At the end, above a black ribbed ring, sits a purple cap that switches the vibration on and off. Which lubricant fits?

A water-based one. Oil and silicone oil attack soft plastics, water attacks nothing. The selection is under water-based lubricant.

How is it cleaned?

With lukewarm water and a sex toy cleaner, then left to dry completely. Keep the cap screwed tight while doing so, so that no water gets into the battery compartment. The PVC is porous: it gets clean but not sterile, so a condom goes over it when switching between people.

May it be used anally?

No. The end is just the cap with the switch; there is no flared base that stays outside and acts as a stop. An anal toy needs that stop, because the sphincter pulls inward whatever it can grip.

How do you change the batteries?

Unscrew the purple cap, take out the old batteries and put new ones in. Then screw the cap back on until it sits straight and without a gap on the black ring.

How do you store it?

Dry, without batteries and apart from other soft toys. Leaking batteries damage the battery compartment, and PVC sticks to other soft plastics when they lie against each other for a long time and can transfer colour in the process. A pouch of its own and a spot away from direct sun and radiator heat keep the soft plastic in shape.
