A lubricant on a silicone base, and that is a different thing from the usual: silicone does not soak in and does not dry away, it stays put until it is washed off. A single drop therefore lasts longer than a handful of water-based gel, and in water it stays where it is - in the shower or the tub it plays to its strength, where water-based gel simply dissolves. The small bottle is the one to try it with: coming from a water-based gel, you notice on the first go that far less is needed here. The price for that is one hard rule: silicone oil attacks silicone. Why not for silicone toys?

Because like dissolves like. Silicone oil leaves the surface of a silicone toy dull, then tacky, and that cannot be undone. For glass, metal and hard plastic it is harmless - and for skin anyway.

How much of it do you need?

Considerably less than you are used to. One or two drops cover what would take a teaspoon of water-based gel. Dosing it as usual leaves you with slippery bedding and no better effect.

Does it work with condoms?

Yes, it is compatible with latex condoms - that is stated expressly on the label. What does not work is condoms and silicone toys in the same session: as soon as a silicone toy joins in, you switch, see lubricant.

How does it come off again?

With soap, not with water alone - that is the difference from water-based gel and the reason it lasts so long in the first place. Out of fabrics it comes best with washing-up liquid before the wash. If you want to avoid it on silicone toys but need the long staying power, put a condom over the toy - that is the only clean way to combine the two. For everything else anal and fisting lubricant is there.
