The anal lubricant Lubrax combines water and silicone in a hybrid formula and contains aloe vera extract. It is condom compatible, formulated not to feel sticky and, in the small tube, fits easily into a bedside drawer or travel bag. The tube stands on its cap, so the gel collects at the opening and comes out in portions. It is not combined with silicone toys: the silicone content attacks silicone surfaces, and the surface of the toy turns dull. What does the hybrid formula bring?

A pure water-based gel dries out during long play, a pure silicone gel is hard to wash off. In the hybrid the silicone content keeps it slippery, the water content makes it washable.

What does it get on with?

With latex condoms and with toys made of glass, metal or hard plastic such as ABS. Latex-free condoms also get on with the mix of water and silicone. If you use silicone toys, choose a gel from the water-based lubricant category.

How much do you need?

Plenty. In the anal area the body produces no moisture of its own, so: rather too much than too little, and top up early.

How is it removed?

With warm water and a little soap; the silicone content makes it take a little longer than a water-based gel.

Water, silicone or oil: what is the difference?
