How do you use the pump?

Place the cylinder with its cuff firmly at the base of the penis and squeeze the bulb at a steady pace; each squeeze draws a little air out. Pump slowly and never beyond a comfortable level. If there is pain, numbness or discolouration, release the air at once.

What does the silicone cuff do?

It is soft and fairly wide. That way it settles against the skin instead of pressing with a hard edge, and it holds the vacuum. A thin film of water-based lubricant on the edge helps as well; you will find suitable ones under water-based lubricant. Leave out silicone lubricant, as it can attack the cuff.
