The Soft Tampons Original Professional by Joydivision are tampons without a retrieval string, made of soft pink foam. The large pack holds fifty pieces, each individually wrapped in film, in a fold-open dispenser box from which you take one at a time. The little sponges are cut round. Each one is a short cylinder with a flat top and bottom, and the pores of the foam are fine. Because no string hangs out, the tampon goes unnoticed when swimming, in the sauna and during sex. The pack is meant for regular use. The Soft Tampons are made in Germany. How is a soft tampon inserted?

With clean hands and one finger. Squeeze the sponge gently, push it in as deep as feels comfortable and let go; inside it takes its shape again.

How do you get it out again without a string?

With one finger. Take hold of the sponge at the side with one finger and pull it out slowly.

And if you cannot reach it straight away?

Stay calm and change position. Squatting or with one foot on the edge of the bath, it moves closer to the entrance. Try again with a little patience, and if it still does not work, get help from a doctor.

How long does it stay in?

As long as an ordinary tampon, then it is changed. It does not stay in overnight, and if it feels at all unfamiliar, take it out at once.

Can it be used more than once?

No, each tampon is for single use. After wearing, it goes in the general waste, not down the toilet; it is not washed and reused.

How do you store the tampons?

Dry and in their film. Take a tampon out only shortly before inserting it and close the dispenser box again afterwards so that no dust gets in.
