It consists of two tubes, each with a ring at the outer end, an inner rod with a row of holes and two ring bolts with wing nuts. The inner rod sits in both tubes; the ring bolts pass through the holes and hold the chosen length. At the same time they are the two middle rings, where wrist cuffs or a rope can be clipped in. At its shortest the bar suits a slight spread, fully extended it suits legs spread wide while lying down. All parts are made of polished stainless steel. Cuffs are not included. How do you set the length?

Before putting it on, never with the legs already cuffed. Pull the tubes apart to the length you want, push both ring bolts through matching holes and tighten the wing nuts. Then check with a firm pull that nothing gives, and check the nuts again now and then. Nobody is ever suspended from the bar itself.
