How do you assemble it?

Slide the thin middle tube into the two outer tubes until the holes line up, and push the pins through. Then pull firmly on both ends to check that everything holds. To adjust, pull one pin out by its ring, move the tube and secure it again while nobody is hooked in.

What are all the rings for?

For different positions. Hook into the outer rings and the spread is at its widest, further in the distance gets smaller, and hands and feet can be fixed to different rings at the same time. If needed, you run a rope from the middle ring to the bed frame.
