In the shop the article was called merely „stimulation gel for her 25 ml“ - no brand, no range. The tube says AQUAglide and below it „Stimulationsgel für Sie / stimulating gel for her“. So it is the offshoot of the well-known lubricant range, in the small 25 ml tube. What a stimulation gel does: it is applied externally to the clitoris and creates a tingling there that stimulates blood flow and raises sensitivity. How strongly that turns out differs from person to person - some feel a lot, some little. It does not force arousal, and a medicine it is not: it is a cosmetic product applied externally. Taking a little and waiting is the better way than a lot at once. Made in Germany. It stands with sexual preparations, under intimate hygiene, in the drugstore section and with sextoys for women.

What does it feel like?

Like a light tingling or prickling at the spot where the gel was applied. The strength varies greatly between individuals; apply little at first and wait a few minutes.

Is this a medicine?

No. It is a cosmetic product for external use. Anyone with lasting loss of desire or with pain should have that looked at medically - a gel does not replace it.

Can it be used together with lubricant?

Yes, both are water-based. It makes sense to apply the stimulation gel first, let it work and then add the lubricant.

What does „medical lubricant“ mean?

It is printed on every tube of the range and is a classification, not a health claim: pH-optimized, dermatologically and clinically tested, meant for mucous membranes. A medicine it is not.

Does it get on with toys and condoms?

With both. That is the advantage of a water base: silicone oil attacks silicone toys, oil makes condoms unsafe - a water gel has neither problem.

Where is it made?

In Germany - JoyDivision prints „Made with Love in Germany“ on the packaging. With lubricants that is no footnote: the ingredient list is therefore declared under German cosmetics law.
