What does „superior elastic“ mean?

The old title called them that; what is meant is the wide elastic band at the top. It spreads the pull over a larger area and so cuts in less than a narrow one - there is nothing more behind the word.

Do they stay up without suspenders?

The top finish decides: a silicone strip in the band holds by itself, a plain elastic finish holds through tension. What never hurts: the band needs grease-free skin - anyone moisturising first will not wonder for long about slipping stockings.

What does one size mean here?

How do you put them on without ruining them?

Rings off, nails checked, gather the stocking to the heel, place the foot inside and roll the leg up slowly. Never pull on the band - that is where the join tears first.

What do you do when a stitch ladders?

A drop of clear nail varnish at the top and bottom end of the ladder stops it at once. On net you hardly see it, because the pattern is open anyway.

How are they washed?
