The Boundless Harness Dildo Ridged by CalExotics is a slim, slightly curved dildo in black silicone. Several ridges run round the shaft below the rounded tip, a second ridged section sits just above the base, and in between the shaft is smooth. Its flat suction cup fits most harnesses with an O-ring; a harness is not included. It comes in a white box with a window, the Boundless lettering running vertically and a yellow strip along the bottom edge. Does it fit my harness?

The ring decides, not the length: it has to match the neck above the base, not the thickest point. Too big and the dildo slips through, too small and it does not go in at all. The base also has to be wider than the ring so that it holds. Further models to switch between are under dildos.

Does it work without a harness?

Yes. On smooth, clean surfaces such as tiles or glass the base sticks firmly, so you can also use it on your own with both hands free. On rough or porous surfaces such as wood or fabric, however, it does not hold.

May it be used anally?

Yes. The wide suction cup stops it from slipping in completely; the sphincter pulls inward whatever it can grip, so the base is a requirement. Start slowly. Suitable harnesses are under strap-ons.

How much lubricant does it take?

Considerably more than you would guess, and anally more again than vaginally, because nothing gets wet by itself there. Take a water-based one, because silicone does not tolerate silicone lubricant; suitable ones are under water-based lubricant.

How is it cleaned?

With warm water and a sex toy cleaner; it is waterproof and may go fully under water. With a partner, a condom belongs over it when switching between people or between anal and vaginal.
