What do the stockings look like?

Made of fine black fishnet. At the top they finish in a wide band of red floral lace, where the clips of the suspenders grip.

How does the bralette sit?

As a halterneck without underwire. The triangle cups have a black trim, and a narrow band fastens at the back and adjusts through a slider.

How is the suspender belt made?

Below the waistband the lace leaves a large oval open in the centre front; at the back only a smooth, narrow band runs round.

How is the set washed?

By hand, below 30 degrees. With a delicate detergent and no fabric softener; lace and suspenders take neither the drum nor the tumble dryer. Then dry it flat.

What if a thread pulls?

Do not cut it off; draw it inside with a blunt needle. A cut thread keeps running, a pulled-through one holds.

How is it stored?

Lying flat, not on a hanger. Lace and elastic give way under their own weight if a piece hangs for months.
