Do the oval openings tear further?

Not by themselves: the edges are knitted in and therefore firm. What is dangerous is rings and fingernails while putting them on - after that the bridges take movement without trouble.

A set or one piece?

One piece. What looks like a suspender belt and stockings is knitted together - you step into it like a pair of tights. The advantage: nothing slips apart. The drawback: the stockings cannot be worn on their own.

What does one size mean here?
