How does the band hold best?

Silicone only grips on dry skin. Body lotion or oil under the band makes it slip, so moisturise your legs only once the stockings are on, and leave out the spot on the thigh.

How fine is the net?

The stitches are small and even. From two or three metres the leg looks as if under a dark veil; close up you can make out the grid.

What does the high elastane content do?

One fifth elastane lets the net give noticeably and spring back. It therefore hugs the leg closely.

What size are they?

They are cut as one size, designed for roughly EU 34 to 40. For the hold, the thigh is what counts: the band has to sit snugly there without cutting in.

How do you handle them gently?

Rings off, nails checked, gather the stocking down to the heel, put your foot in and roll the net up slowly. Only lay the band on the skin right at the end, otherwise the silicone sticks halfway up. They are best washed gently by hand in cool water. Then leave them to dry flat in the air.

What goes with them?
