How opaque is the white?

The skin shows through only a little; the leg looks light and even. Where the knit stretches most, at the knee and heel, it becomes a little more see-through.

What do you need to watch with white?

White nylon picks up colour from dark shoe linings, from jeans or from dyed leather. Choose light shoes or wipe dark ones out beforehand, and the foot stays clean.

What size are they?

They are cut as one size, designed for roughly EU 34 to 40. The thigh circumference is what counts, because that is where the top edge sits.

Can you attach them to suspenders?

Yes. Fix the clips of a suspender belt in the top edge, not in the knit below. Without a bow, the whole edge is free for the clips. A suspender belt is not included.

How do you handle them gently?

Rings off and nails checked, then gather the stocking down to the heel, put your foot in and roll the nylon up slowly. If a stitch does run, a drop of clear nail varnish at both ends stops it; on white it hardly shows. They are best washed gently by hand in cool water.
