How do you put the straps on?

Place the strap high on the thigh so it lies evenly and flat. Turn the ring to the inside if you want to link the legs, so the snap hooks meet between the thighs. Do the same with the second leg.

Can you walk in them?

With the connecting piece clipped in, only in small steps, which is exactly the point. Unclip it before stairs or near edges so nobody trips.

What do you watch for in terms of safety?

Only tighten the straps so far that a finger still fits underneath. Check now and then that the legs stay warm and feel normal, and release everything at once at tingling, numbness or pain.
