Do they need a suspender belt?

No. The wide band sits at waist height and holds on its own - which is exactly what separates them from the separate stockings the old title confused them with.

Do the holes fray?

No. The circles are knitted in and bound, not cut out.

What does one size mean here?

Leg Avenue lists one size as EU 34 to 40 and plus size as EU 42 to 46. With tights the length matters as much as the width: it hardly stretches, and on a very tall frame the crotch pulls downwards.

Do you wear briefs underneath?

With an open crotch that is a matter of taste: underneath makes them invisible, over the top makes them part of the picture. On the product photos they usually sit underneath - which also keeps the net waistband in place.

How do you put them on without ruining them?

Rings off, nails checked, gather the fabric down to the foot, step in and roll them up leg by leg. Anyone yanking at them catches a stitch - and that one ladders.
