Where are the hearts?

Nowhere - just as on the rose version. The title spoke of „hearts & bows“; the photos show oval cut-outs and bows. The bows are right, the hearts are not.

What does one size mean here?

Leg Avenue lists one size as EU 34 to 40 and plus size as EU 42 to 46. With tights the length matters as much as the width: it hardly stretches, and on a very tall frame the crotch pulls downwards.

Do you wear briefs underneath?

With an open crotch that is a matter of taste: underneath makes them invisible, over the top makes them part of the picture. On the product photos they usually sit underneath - which also keeps the net waistband in place.

How do you put them on without ruining them?

Rings off, nails checked, gather the fabric down to the foot, step in and roll them up leg by leg. Anyone yanking at them catches a stitch - and that one ladders.

What do you do when a stitch ladders?

A drop of clear nail varnish at the top and bottom end of the ladder stops it at once. It is not pretty, but it saves the evening - and on coarse net you hardly see it.

What does a shoe do to the net?

It is the most common cause of holes. The foot sits inside the net part, and any rough insole rubs exactly there. Anyone wearing the tights often is better off pulling a thin sock over them.

How is it washed?

By hand in cold water or in a laundry net on a delicate cycle, then dried flat. No dryer and no fabric softener - both take the tension out of the yarn.
