How are the 20 and 40 den distributed?

Den states the weight of the yarn: the higher the number, the denser the fabric. The nude areas on the thighs are fine at 20 den, the black stocking legs below are considerably firmer at 40 den. So the upper part looks almost like bare skin, while the legs below look dark and rich.

Does size 1/2 fit you?

It is the smaller of the two sizes. Compare your height and weight with the ranges; if your height falls into both sizes, weight decides, and with less weight 1/2 is the one. The elastane gives a little but does not replace the right size.

What is the open crotch for?

So that the tights can stay on during sex. You put them on once and then never have to pull them down or take them off.

Do you need a suspender belt with them?

No, belt, suspender straps and stocking tops are part of the tights. You put them on in one go and have no clips to fasten.

How do you wash them?

It is gentlest to wash them by hand in cool water. Rinse them well, roll them in a towel briefly to remove the water and let them dry lying flat.
