Batteries or rechargeable?

Batteries. With B Swish the model name says what is inside: Classic runs on batteries, Infinite and Deluxe are the rechargeable versions. Batteries are changed in two minutes and keep for years in a drawer; in return you have to have some in the house.

Can the egg get lost inside?

Not vaginally: it sits on a retrieval loop and the vagina is closed at the top. Anally, however, no vibrating egg belongs, because it lacks the wide retaining base and the sphincter draws small bodies further in by itself.
