The Dexter by Black&Silver is a wand massager with a large, round silicone head and a long ABS handle. It is operated via an oval button panel in the middle of the handle. The material is free from BPA and phthalates. A wand is meant for external use: it is laid on, not inserted, and the large head reaches more area than a narrow tip. Which lubricant fits?

A water-based one. Silicone oil attacks silicone and leaves the surface dull and tacky, which cannot be undone. The selection is under water-based lubricant.

Which setting do you start on?

The lowest, even if you know vibrators. From the bottom you can build, from the top you cannot. If even the lowest is too strong for you, put a towel in between; that takes the edge off without having to change device.

What does the flexible head do?

It sits on a movable neck and gives a little when laid on instead of pressing rigidly. If you place the wand at an angle, the head settles against the shape of the body instead of resting only on its edge.

How is it charged?

Via a USB cable with a magnetic plug that attaches at the end of the handle. A USB power adapter or a computer supplies the power.

May it go under water?

Do not submerge it. Wipe the head with a damp cloth, and keep the handle with its button panel and charging point dry.

How is it cleaned and stored?

Clean the head with lukewarm water and a sex toy cleaner, then leave it to dry. Store silicone toys apart from each other. Further models are under vibrators.
