The Vibrator Folded Head by Armony is slim and gently curved, and its head is thicker than the shaft: a stepped knob at the tip, built up from several stacked, ring-shaped folds. That lets it grip inside, and on the way out that edge is exactly what you feel. A gold-coloured trim ring with a small point sets off the grip, and there are two buttons at the bottom of the grip. It offers nine vibration modes; start with a gentle one, the strongest setting is rarely the best. How do you find the G-spot?

On the front wall a few centimetres in, with light upward pressure. Find the spot with the device switched off, because searching against your own vibration makes it needlessly hard.

Why does nothing happen?

Usually because it is given up on too quickly. The area needs a few minutes before anything happens at all, and it responds to pressure rather than pace.
