The Barbara is one of the smallest devices in the range and works differently from an ordinary vibrator: at the front sits a movable ball that rolls across the skin instead of resting rigidly on it. That changes the feel noticeably - a rolling ball travels with you as you move the device and transmits the vibration more evenly than a fixed tip. At barely four centimetres in both directions it is genuinely tiny and disappears completely into your palm; you hold it more like an eraser than like a device. What does the rolling ball do?

It travels with you as you move the device instead of dragging across the skin. That transmits the vibration more evenly and feels softer than a fixed tip. Classic devices with a rigid contact surface are at lay-on vibrators.

Is it not too small?

Not for external stimulation - with a clitoral vibrator the size says little about the power, what matters is the motor. If you want more anyway, reach for a device from massage wands.

How is it cleaned?

Wash it with warm water and a product from the sex toy cleaner category and let it dry in the open. Silicone is non-porous, so nothing settles in it. Store it without contact to other silicone toys - two silicone surfaces can stick together and go dull.

How is it charged?

Over a cable. Charge it fully once before first use - that noticeably extends the life of the battery. If you use it rarely, still top it up every few months; a deeply discharged battery takes damage.

Do you need lubricant for it?

For external use, not necessarily. A drop of water-based gel makes the ball roll more easily, and no more is needed. Silicone oil must not touch it, it attacks the surface; suitable ones are under water-based lubricant.
