How far does the shaft travel?

A few centimetres, no more. It is not about depth but about rhythm - the travel is short, but the ribbing makes it clearly noticeable.

Why is the surface ribbed?

So the movement arrives. A smooth shaft moving two centimetres only glides; the grooves grip and make every movement tangible.

Does it need more lubricant?

Yes. With thrusting devices the movement comes from the motor and not from you - dry friction shows up sooner. Apply generously and top up when needed.

Which lubricant suits it?

A water-based one. Silicone oil attacks the silicone surface, it turns dull and tacky over time, and that cannot be undone. Suitable ones are under water-based lubricant, and the differences between the bases are explained in the lubricant guide.

How is it cleaned?

Wash it with warm water and a product from the sex toy cleaner category and let it dry in the open. Silicone is non-porous, so nothing settles in it. Store it without contact to other silicone toys - two silicone surfaces can stick together and go dull.
