How are the buttons arranged?

Each motor has its own, and both sit on the same side of the handle. You reach them with the thumb of the holding hand without regripping. Which button belongs to which motor you remember after the first time.

Why switch on one motor first?

Because two different stimuli at once are hard to tell apart. One after another you notice what each contributes and find the combination that suits. The second time you already know.

Does black stand out less?

In a drawer and in luggage, yes. Technically the model is identical in all three colours; only the colouring changes.

How do I store it?

On its own and dry, not pressed among other silicone toys. If two soft surfaces lie on each other for long, they can stick together and discolour in places.
