With the Pluggy from the Chrystalino range by Shots the thickening sits at the front: an elongated, rounded head that tapers towards the tip sits on a slim, straight shaft. That way its shape is reminiscent of a plug. It is made of hand-blown borosilicate glass in black. At the bottom it sits in a silicone suction base that you can pull off. With the base it sticks to smooth surfaces and can be fitted into a strap-on harness with an O-ring. Inside, a motor works, powered by a built-in battery, and it can take water, because it is waterproof. It sits under glass and ceramic dildos, under vibrators and in our sex toys section.

What does the thickened head do?

It leads when inserting and can be placed on a particular spot, while the slim shaft behind it hardly adds bulk. With small tilting movements you find the angle at which the vibration comes through most clearly.

How do you start the vibration?

Hold the button on the underside of the glass body for about three seconds, and it is switched on, and off again the same way. A short press on the power button of the remote connects it, it runs at the first speed, and the second button takes you up to the tenth.

Is it suitable for anal use?

Yes, but only with the suction base attached, which stays outside as a stop. Without the base, do not use it anally. Check beforehand that the base sits firmly on the glass.

What do you need to watch with glass?

Before every use, check the glass for cracks, fissures and chips and put it aside if damaged. It must not fall onto hard floors and is safest kept on its own and padded. It is warmed in warm water and cooled in the fridge. Avoid hot water, the freezer and quick temperature changes, and before use test the temperature on your wrist.

Which lubricant fits, and how do you clean it?

Use water-based lubricant, which the silicone suction base tolerates too, and there is a selection under water-based lubricant. To clean, remove the base and wash both parts with warm water and a sex toy cleaner.
