This limited edition of the Pocket Rocket Original by Doc Johnson has a matt black body made of phthalate-free ABS plastic with gold lettering. Three gold-coloured balls protrude from the tip; above them sits a smoke-tinted, translucent cap with nubs that can be removed. Below the “Pocket Rocket” lettering lies a twist ring with grip ridges and the markings OPEN, OFF and ON, which you use to switch it on and off. It has no further settings. Power comes from one AA battery. At the bottom end, lengthwise ribs keep your fingers from slipping as you turn it. The little vibrator is made for placing on the body, on the clitoris or other sensitive spots, not for insertion. What is the tinted cap for?

It places nubs over the three balls. With the cap on, the touch is spread more widely; without it, the balls meet the skin directly and more precisely. Try both; the cap is only pushed on.

Which lubricant do you use?

A water-based one is the easiest. It gets on with all toy materials and comes off easily when you wipe it. Suitable lubricants are under water-based lubricant.

May it go in water?

No, keep it away from water, because the battery sits inside the body. Wash the removed cap with warm water and mild soap, wipe the body damp with a sex toy cleaner and let it dry afterwards.

What helps if it will not start after a break?

Usually the battery is flat or has leaked. Fit a fresh AA battery and in future take it out when you will not use the vibrator for a while. That keeps the contacts clean. Store it dry and apart from other toys.
