Does it have to go inside?

No, Sol rests on top. The pulsing pad at the head is placed on the outside, the handle stays in your hand, and the thumb finds a hold in the oval recess.

Do you need lubricant for it?

Yes, a drop. Without lubricant the head rubs, and friction in that place becomes unpleasant rather than pleasant after a short while. A water-based one suits every material, whereas silicone oil leaves the silicone surface dull; the selection is under water-based lubricant.

What does the pulsing feel like?

Like a fast tapping: the pad beats against the skin in short bursts. The stimulus stays limited to a small spot, so the head is held still and only moved slowly.

Which setting do you start on?

The lowest. From the bottom you can build, from the top you cannot, and the strongest setting feels weaker after a while, not stronger.

How is it cleaned?

With lukewarm water and a sex toy cleaner, then left to dry. The charging contacts are wiped dry before the next charge.

How is it stored?
