How do you start the first time?

Try the three functions one at a time first, each on the lowest setting, before running them all together. Otherwise it is hard to tell what is actually working and what is too much for you.

Why does the suction cup sometimes not draw?

Because its rim is not sealed all the way round. Without a seal there is no suction; a thin film of lubricant on the rim and a steady position help more than a higher setting.

Which lubricant fits?

How do you clean it?

Wipe the cup, tongue and arm with lukewarm water and mild soap after every use, including inside the cup, where lubricant collects. It does not tolerate being submerged. Only charge it once it is completely dry.
