What does air pressure instead of vibration mean?

The outer part barely touches the clitoris. Instead of pressing, it encloses it and works with pressure waves in a small chamber - many people find that less sharp and longer lasting than direct vibration. All that matters is that the opening seals; otherwise nothing happens.

Do I have to use both at once?
