Why does the title give only the head?

Because the record carried the same value twice - once as length, once as diameter. That is the head; a wand a few centimetres long does not exist. The overall length is named by no source that can be read, so it does not stand here either.

What was “model 2” in the title?

A placeholder, because there was a second wand in purple. What now tells them apart is what you can see: the glossy handle. That is findable again; a number is not.

What makes a wand a wand?

A large soft head on a handle - and a motor that hits harder than in any other toy. The head spreads that over a large area instead of meeting a point. Which is why the wand is the device for anyone who finds small vibrators too ticklish. More on it in the vibrator guide.

Is that much force not too much?

At the start, yes. A wand begins where small vibrators stop, and on many models the lowest setting is stronger than the highest of a finger vibrator. So: lowest setting, a cloth or clothing in between, and only then build up.

Is lubricant needed?

Not for the outside. Anyone running it over skin manages without; where it should be wetter, take a water-based one from water-based lubricant. Silicone lubricant attacks silicone - the surface turns dull and sticky.

How is it cleaned?

With lukewarm water and mild soap or a toy cleaner from sex toy cleaner, then left to dry in the open. Silicone picks up odours if it is put away damp, and it sticks to other silicone - store it on its own.
