How much lubricant do you need anally?

Why is it thicker than a normal lubricant?

So it stays put. A thin gel spreads and disappears; a thicker one stays where it is needed - in anal sex the decisive difference.

Why without numbing additives?

Because pain during anal sex is a warning. Numb it away and you notice an injury only afterwards. A gel without anaesthetics is therefore the safe choice.

Does it get on with toys and condoms?

With both. That is the advantage of a water base: silicone oil attacks silicone toys, oil makes condoms unsafe - a water gel has neither problem.
