How do you put them on?

Lay the cuff around the wrist with the padded side facing in, pull the strap through the buckle and push the pin into the right hole. Then hook the link into the D-rings of both cuffs. Without it you have two separate cuffs.

How tight may they sit?

There is always a finger’s width of room between cuff and skin. Check regularly how hands and fingers feel and what colour they are; if they turn cold, numb, tingly, pale or bluish, release them at once. Also, do not stay in the same position for long.
