How do the cuffs close?

There is a black Velcro area at one end of each cuff. Wrap the cuff around the wrist and press the Velcro strap down where it lies snugly without constricting. With no holes, the fit adjusts continuously. A firm pull on the strap end opens it.

Can the chain be removed?

Yes. It consists of a handful of round links with a snap hook at each end. Open the snap hooks with your thumb and unhook them from the D-rings. That way you can also wear the cuffs on their own, for example as eye-catching bracelets.

What do you watch for when restraining?

There is always room for one finger between cuff and skin. Check now and then that the hands are warm, and release at once at tingling, numbness, cold or pale skin.
