📏 Length and girth are two different disciplines
The 245 items here fall into two camps, and they are easy to confuse. On one side there is length: anal snakes, long double dildos and rods that stay slim – some measure only 3 to 4 cm across but 50, 80 or more than 100 cm in length. On the other side there is girth: plugs and fist formats that are comparatively short at 20 or 30 cm, but 12, 14 or 18 cm thick.
What that means for you: the two groups feel completely different and neither prepares you for the other. Being used to a thick plug does not make you ready for a 50 cm snake – and the other way round. Diameter decides the stretch, length decides the depth. Only ever increase one of the two at a time.
How to work your way up to XXL
Don't force anything: work your way up slowly through smaller dildos and anal plugs and allow plenty of time for large formats. Generous lubricant is mandatory at these sizes, and a soft material makes insertion far more comfortable. Listen to your body and take breaks when it becomes too much. ⚠️ Four rules that are not negotiable at these sizes
The larger the format, the less it forgives. The most important point first: pain is the warning signal – which is exactly why numbing gels have no place in stretching. They switch off the very feedback that protects you from injury. If you can't feel anything, you notice a tear only afterwards.
Second, only insert anally what has a wide base or a retrieval ring. Third, these calibres need considerably more lubricant than you are used to, reapplied again and again – thick fisting gels are made for this and stay put far longer than thin standard gel. And fourth: warm up with smaller sizes, every single time. A body that was relaxed yesterday is not automatically relaxed again today.

🧪 With XXL, a soft material makes the difference
At these sizes the material is no longer a side issue. Dual-density silicone has a firm core and a soft outer layer – it gives on insertion and feels far more approachable at the same diameter than a body that is hard all the way through. Rigid materials such as glass or metal forgive almost nothing in this size range and are better left to experienced hands.
One practical point about lubricant: silicone-based gel lasts the longest but leaves silicone toys permanently dull. No. This category begins where the usual sizes end. If you are new to it, the anal plugs or the dildos are the right place – you will find the same shapes there in sizes you can actually begin with.
How long does it take to get to XXL?
That cannot be put in weeks and depends on the body. The reliable rule is: move to the next size only once the previous one works without pressure and without after-effects. Taking shortcuts costs more time in the end.
Why are some toys so long but very thin?
Those are anal snakes. They are about depth, not stretch – which is why they stay slim. They are a discipline of their own and not comparable to thick plugs.
How much lubricant do I actually need?
More than you would think, and reapplied several times. Thick fisting gels are made for exactly this purpose; water-based standard gels dry out too quickly during long sessions.
Are inflatable models safe?
They allow very fine steps up, because you inflate gradually. What matters is that you deflate completely before pulling out, and that the model has a wide base.
What do I do if there is pain or bleeding?
Stop immediately. A slight pulling sensation can happen, real pain cannot. Bleeding, persistent pain, or anything that cannot be removed again needs medical attention – this is not a situation to wait out.
