🌿 Shiatsu – two massage oils and four 2-in-1 gels

The collection holds six items, and it splits neatly in two: two massage oils at 250 ml each and four massage-and-glide gels at 200 ml each. The difference is bigger than the names suggest.

⚠️ Oil or gel – that is the real question

The two oils are meant for massage and contain essential oils. The four 2-in-1 gels, by contrast, are water-based and built for the massage to carry on into sex – without changing bottles. In practice that means: oil and a latex condom do not go together, the gel does. If you rely on condoms, reach for the gel.

They come in two scents: ylang ylang and jasmine. At 250 ml both are the largest bottles of the brand and leave a silky feel on the skin. Apply sparingly – with massage oil, less is almost always more.

• Strawberry and raspberry may expressly be tasted straight off the skin
• Amber goes for a warm scent instead of a flavour
• Silky Touch is the neutral one – slippery, non-sticky, rinses off with water

Can I use the massage oil as a lubricant?

Better not. Oil attacks latex, so it is out with a condom, and it has no business on silicone toys either. That is exactly what the four water-based 2-in-1 gels are for.

What does 2-in-1 actually mean?

One product for both: first you massage with it, then it stays on as a lubricant. The advantage is the seamless transition; the drawback is that it is neither the richest massage oil nor the longest-lasting lubricant.

Which variety is edible?

Strawberry and raspberry. Amber and Silky Touch do not say so – when in doubt, take a look at the product description before you taste.

How much do I need for a massage?

Less than most people use. A walnut-sized amount warmed between your palms covers a back or a pair of legs; you can always add more. That makes 200 to 250 ml last for many evenings.
