UNILATEX – two condoms and a lubricant 🛡️

UNILATEX carries three articles here: two condoms in bulk packs of 144 pieces each and one water-based lubricant.

The three articles 💧

Classic is the condom Natural, 144 pieces, flavoured the condom Strawberry, 144 pieces. On top of that comes the water-based lubricant with 82 g – see condoms, water-based lubricant and flavoured lubricant.

What do 18 cm and 5.4 cm say?

The two figures are length and width. On condoms the width is the detail that counts – 5.4 cm corresponds to the common standard width. If a condom sits too tight it is more likely to tear; if it sits too loose it slips. Both variants here are the same width, the strawberry condom is half a centimetre longer.

Why does water-based gel belong with them?

Because it is the only kind that works with latex. Oil destroys latex within minutes without anything showing on the condom – that goes for massage oil, body lotion and petroleum jelly too. Silicone-based gel does get on with latex, but it attacks silicone toys. More in the guide to lubricant use and tolerance.

How do you use a condom correctly?

Tear the pack open at the notch, not with your teeth. Put it on before any contact, squeeze the reservoir, press the air out. After ejaculation hold it at the rim and withdraw while the erection is still there. Never two condoms on top of each other – they rub against one another and tear more easily. What should you watch with flavoured condoms?

They are meant for oral sex. The added flavour does not mean they protect less well – it does mean that some people react sensitively to it. On burning or itching switch to the neutral variant, and on lasting complaints get it checked by a doctor.

What is not in the data sheet?

The material – none is on file for any of the three articles. On condoms that is the single most important detail, because it decides whether someone with a latex allergy may use them. The expiry date is not in the collection data either; on a pack of 144 pieces it is worth a look before you buy.
